All-on-4 Procedure
1 - Bone check
We will conduct a 3D xray using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) to examine the bone structure in your mouth to ensure there is enough bone where the implant needs to be placed. If there is not enough bone, more can be generated through regenerative techniques such as block bone grafts.
2 - Placement of the Implant(s)
The procedure and placement of the 4 dental implants per dental arch takes less than 3 hours and is performed under local anesthesia. Many patients have reported that the procedure causes less pain and irritation than a simple tooth extraction
3 - Final Touches
After about 4-6 months, once your implant has had time to adjust to your mouth and its surroundings, it’s time for the final touches. An impression is used to copy your tissue and implant location to fabricate and design the structure and teeth of the fixed denture. Any extra tissue or gum over the implant is removed to let it heal and the denture will be screwed directly to your implant.
