How do you know if you are a dental implant candidate?

  • You have missing teeth.
  • You have “sunken face” due to gaps or missing teeth.
  • Your teeth are shifting and causing issues chewing or biting due to tooth separation or missing teeth.
  • You have difficulty chewing.
  • You require a permanent solution instead using dentures.

Advantages of Dental Implants

Enhanced Aesthetic: A dental implant is so natural looking and comfortable that no one will notice the difference between your implant, and your real teeth!

Improvement in Speech: Dentures can often shift inside your mouth, causing slurred or mumbled speech. With dental implants, say goodbye to muffled speech. Your perfect fitting implant won’t shift or slide around in your mouth.

Improved Ability to Chew: Chew with ease with your dental implants, unlike poorly fitting dentures that make it difficult to chew your food effectively.

Self-esteem Boost: Smile all you want! You’ll want to show off your beautiful, new, functional smile that sparkles. The world may not notice that you have dental implants, but they will notice how beautiful your smile is.

Tooth Durability: Dental Implants are reliable, durable, and meant to last a lifetime.

The Dental Implant Procedure

Step 1

A local anesthetic is applied at our state-of-the-art facilities in order to ease any discomfort you may have. A dental implant, or implants, are then surgically inserted into the bone on your smile. You are then given a four-month healing period before returning for the remainder of the procedure. This time allows the implant to fuse to your natural bone and become a permanent “tooth” in your smile, with the same strength and functionality as your other, healthy teeth.

Step 2

When you return to Tijuana Dental, a post is attached to the now fused implant using a mild, local anesthetic. This post will support the new tooth/teeth.

Step 3

Our dental implant specialists will take dental impressions of your smile, and create a natural looking tooth to attach to the post. Dental implants will provide you with the beautiful, strong, functional smile you have always wanted!
