How to choose between All-on-4 and All-on-6?
Each of the implant systems has its specific benefits. Which one is better in your case depends on the condition of your mouth, gums and jawbone. Make an appointment to have a specialist analyze which is the best option for you.
Advantages of All-on-6 implants
- Allows to make permanent teeth or fixed screw-retained teeth.
- Helps to recover the esthetics of those who have lost all or some teeth.
- Recovers the functionality of people who have lost all their teeth or are about to do so.
- Using six implants instead of four, provides greater stability and strength.
- The two additional implants or screws give more protection against bone density loss over time.
- All-on-6 implants are easy to maintain.
- They prevent damage to the gums that can occur with removable dentures.
All-on-6 Procedure
1 - Bridge
Six screws are set into the jaw bone, covered by a zirconia-porcelain bridge.
2 - Placement of the Implant(s)
By placing the implants into the jawbone, they integrate with the jawbone and once they are integrated into the bone, they function as natural tooth roots.
3 - Final Touches
Improve your appearance and the function of your teeth from day one, as temporary teeth are placed from that moment on. Permanent teeth are placed once the implants are integrated into the jawbone. Approximately 4 to 6 months later.
